El Cap, Yosemite

Day 1 - Arrive at the San Francisco airport. Accessible transfer to your hotel. Get acquainted dinner. Stay 3 nights.

Day 2 - We'll tour through downtown San Francisco and see Chinatown, Nob Hill, and Fisherman's Wharf before continuing over the Golden Gate into Marin County to see Muir Woods National Monument, one of the most beautiful and accessible of the famous redwood groves. We return across the Golden Gate and drive through Golden Gate Park, the largest man-made park in the world.

Day 3 - Off to the Wine Country of the Napa/Sonoma area, where we will tour one of the area's most popular wineries.

Day 4 - We drive to Yosemite National Park today. Stay 2 nights.

Day 5 - One of the best known places in the world and Ansel Adams' home, Yosemite is renowned for its magnificent valley, great granite domes and peaks. We enjoy the valley today.

Day 6 - To Monterey! The capital of Alta California under the Spanish, Mexican and American flags, Monterey, is at the center of much history, interest and beauty.. Stay 2 nights.

Day 7 - Among the sights today will be: Steinbeck’s Cannery Row, and the beautiful, rocky shore of Pacific Grove The Big Sur, known for its stunning cliffs above the Pacific Ocean is on our agenda,  and the spectacular Monterey Bay Aquarium.

 

Day 8 - Return to San Francisco today. En route, a stop at Mission San Juan Bautista, founded by the Spanish in 1797. Farewell dinner.
